Due to the unproblematic and successful course of the 2021 WSOP, the World Series of Poker has decided to also bring back WSOP Circuit Events.
The new WSOPC season will already be starting on November 25th in the Harrah’s Cherokee casino in North Carolina.
Current WSOPC Action Still Taking Place Online
Currently the WSOP Circuit events are still taking place online at GGPoker and WSOP.com and the next highlight is just around the corner.
The Paris Las Vegas Online Circuit will be taking place from November 10-21 and features 12 WSOPC ring events and an incredible $25,000 poker freeroll on November 23rd.
This highlight event will be followed by another fantastic online tournament series shortly after. The Harrah’s Las Vegas Online Circuit will run from December 8-19 and also includes 12 ring events and a $25K freeroll on December 21st.
$250,000 Year-End Championship on December 28
The WSOPC will finish the year of 2021 in style with a massive $250,000 Year-End Championship on December 28th, which will also take place online.
As the name implies this is the WSOPC Tournament of Champions as all winners, monthly leaderboard champions and Second Chance Fast Forward tournaments winners will compete against each other.
WSOPC will return to the live felt on November 25
The new WSOP Circuit Events season will return to the live felt as soon as November 25th.
That means, it will start only three days after the 2021 WSOP in Las Vegas has wrapped up.
“The WSOPC is one of our most important initiatives”
WSOP Senior VP and Executive Director Ty Stewart said:
“It’s been too long, so it’s great to see the Circuit hitting the road once again. The WSOPC is one of our most important initiatives, allowing regional players to experience big-time poker and providing grinders a platform to earn a living.”
The WSOPC will use the big blind ante format and each stop will feature at least 12 gold ring events.
Each stop will need to clear its proposed schedule with the proper regulatory bodies. This means that some will include seniors-only and ladies-only events, and others may not. “Each stop is encouraged to add” those events, per the WSOP press release.
The 2021/2022 WSOP Circuit Events season will take place mostly in the US, but also includes one stop in Calgary, Canada as well as in the Caribbean island paradise Aruba.
