The German-speaking poker community dominated the last episode of the $10,000,000 Venom at Americas Cardroom. Stefan Nemetz from Austria won the prestigious tournament for a staggering $782,062 by defeating German Pro Anton Morgenstern heads-up.

The Venom had a whopping 3,782 entries and there were an incredible $10,000,000 in the prize pool.
ICM Deal at the start of the final table
Due to the massive $10,000,000 guarantee the pay jumps were huge on the final table.
For this reason, agreed on taking 50% of their initial ICM value, while playing for the other 50%.
Anton Morgenstern entered the final table as chip leader
Anton „100kunderrisk“ Morgenstern entered the final table as chip leader and also made it to the heads-up for the title.
There he faced Austrian player and Pokercode Grindhouse member Stefan „BoBomb14“ Nemetz.
It was an epic battle with the heads-up lasting for more than an hour.

Although Anton Morgenstern finished in second place he had the biggest payday worth $793.478 due to the ICM deal and bounties.
