Martin Zamani has not only won the 2023 U.S. Poker Open Main Event in impressive fashion for $666,000, he also took down the Leaderboard for an addition $50,000.
Stacked Final Table at the U.S. Poker Open Main Event
The final table of the $50,000 U.S. Poker Open Main Event only consisted of big names with Justin Bonomo, Jeremy Ausmus, Chris Brewer, Dan Smith, Martin Zamani and Nick Petrangelo.
Chris Brewer was the first to fall and Dan Smith followed him to the rail soon after.
Then followes almost three hours of four-handed play, before Martin Zamani busted Justin Bonomo.
After that both Petrangelo and Ausmus doubled through Zamani, but then Martin outdrew Jeremy in an All-in confrontation with Jack-Seven to his Ace-Six.
This have Martin Zamani a 2 to 1 lead at the start of heads-up play and he never looked back. Nick Petrangelo finally called Zamani’s shove with Queen-Ten and lost against King-Six.

With this victory, Zamani not only secured the staggering $666,000 first place prize, but also an additional $50,000 for winning the 2023 U.S. Poker Open Leaderboard
Martin Zamani finished 14th in Event #1, 14th in Event #3, third in Event #6, and first in Event #10, which was enough to win the the Golden Eagle trophy.
