What Is the PGT PLO Series?

The PGT PLO Series is a brand-new series, which is part of the PokerGO Tour (PGT). It features nine pot-limit Omaha tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $2,200 to $26,000.

Since it belongs to the PGT players are eligible to earn PGT leaderboard points for finishing in the money in PGT PLO Series events.

In addition to that, there is also a PGT PLO Series series leaderboard that ranks the players by points earned. The player, who finishes with the most points and on top the leaderboard through all qualifying events will be crowned PGT PLO Series champion and wins the $25,000 championship bonus.

$1,000,000 in the prize pool of record-breaking Event #1

Event #1: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha drew a field of 200 total entries, including 140 unique players.

They generated a prize pool of $1,000,000 with $160,000 up top for the winner to take home. With that prize pool, Event #1 of the PGT PLO Series became the largest prize pool for an owned-and-operated PGT event with a buy-in of $10,000 and under.
