The 2022 WSOP kicks off tomorrow at Bally’s and Paris on the Strip and we have therefore created the ultimate 2022 WSOP guide with everything you need to know about the 2022 World Series of Poker.
There will be many changes at the 2022 WSOP compared to previous years, since the World Series takes place at the Strip, more precisely at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas from May 31 – July 20.
Introducing the new venues
First of all, we would like to give an introduction to the two new venues. And who could do that better than the legendary WSOP commentary duo Norman Chad and Lon McEachern:
Poker formats divided between the two locations
Since the 2022 WSOP takes place at both Paris and Bally’s there are an incredible 600 poker tables to and 150,000 square feet of space that will be used for the tournament of tournaments.
WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart called it: “The best facilities we’ve ever had.”
And don’t worry about long ways or expensive journeys as the two locations are next to each other.
The organisers will set up a guided walk and signs between the two ballrooms to ensure that nobody gets lost.
Which events will take place where?
So which poker tournaments will take place where? The World Series of Poker homepage reveals that the Paris will see the most action as it hosts all Day 1s plus the cash games!
All final tables as well as Day 2s will be at Bally’s and in case there is huge participation for a specific tournament on Day 1 it will also serve as backup.
When and how to register for 2022 WSOP events?
Registration lines and times can be very long and annoying at the World Series of Poker.
We therefore highly recommend registering at off times, instead of on the Day of the tournament.
Expert Tip: Another excellent option to register for WSOP events are the automated FastTrack kiosks, which will be standing in the hallways of the WSOP venues.
Familiarize yourself with the new locations
Last but not least, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the new locations.
Knowing where you can buy food, get fresh air and especially where the restrooms are can save you important time in the breaks and will make you much more relaxed during the tournaments.
