Tony G’s $100,000 Buy-in Super High Roller Coming to CoinPoker
The No-Limit Texas Hold’em tournament is scheduled for Thursday January 27 at 4 pm GMT as part of CoinPoker’s push to increase traffic to its MTTs and cash games.
A $50,000 event ran just after New Year and was incredibly popular, no doubt helped by Tony G’s profile attracting players who wanted to get a chance to sit and play with him.
Any crypto poker fans who are interested in playing can use the USDT stable coin as the primary in-game currency and $CHP as a utility token.
Huge Cash Game and High Stakes Action at CoinPoker!
After a slow start, crypto poker is finally starting to boom. Only last week we saw what is thought to be the biggest ever online poker pot in history, smashing the previous record.
Think this is biggest online pot I have ever seen $1.8M all in pre AA9T @TonyGuoga v AA96 Leon @PokerroomKings – prev record was $1.3m @Patrik_Antonius V @ViktorBlom maybe this won’t count as pot was in crypto @CoinPoker_OFF 🤷♂️ pic.twitter.com/rEV9S4kHiW

Tony G and Leon Tsoukernik were playing some $1,000/$2,000 PLO and built a pot of $1.8 million to beat Patrik Antonius’s record of the $1.3 million he won from Viktor Blom.
Is this the Biggest Stack Ever in Online Poker?
There might have been another record broken last weekend, too. Patrick Leonard tweeted a screen shot of BenjaminTravesty wielding a stack of $2,464,011.86.
Could this be the biggest ever stack seen in the online game?
This BenjaminTravesty has a $2.5m stack on coin poker against Leon/Tony G/omaha4rollz etc, is this the biggest stack in online history? pic.twitter.com/bOrRn5fyj2

The alt coin used in this game, also featuring Tony G and Leon Tsoukernik, was Tether, always pegged at $1 per coin. For those worried about the volatility of cryptocurrency this is a perfect solution.
